Cacciaguida Luxury Suite

Immense in its splendor and generous in the spaces (85 square meters the largest suite). Extremely elegant and refined, a sweet and welcoming style for families and deeply romantic for couples of all ages.

The three huge windows that overlook the main street (Via dei Neri) give an amazing brightness to the suite. Guests that have the privilege of sleeping in this room will be involved in a pleasant mystical experience, a journey into the past since the times of the Florentine nobility of the seventeenth century.

The details that make it unique are: the English bath on the mezzanine (to spend delicate intimate moments), the wooden coffered ceiling, the Persian rugs, the finishing touches and the antique stone fireplace that embellish and enhance the ‘environment.
The private main entrance ensures privacy and discretion.

The room is dedicated to Cacciaguida, progenitor of the Alighieri family, Dante’s great-grandfather. He was an Italian military crusader, Dante imagines meeting him in Paradise (canto XV, XVI, XVII) in the sky of Mars among the souls of the combatants for the faith.
The character of Cacciaguida emerges in the story and in the Divine Comedy because of the moral function he plays, the one who fights for noble ideals.

Forese Deluxe Suite

Elegant, sober, the Forese Suite is the most familiar and welcoming of our Suites. Ideal for a stay of relaxation and total rest thanks to the window that overlooks the inner courtyard. Huge for two people and comfortable for four (45sqm). The spaces, the furnishings, the Persian carpets and the graceful loft give the whole room a warmth and wellness with pastel and delicate tones. The room is adjacent to the common area that allows you to live the structure in an immediate and in its entirety.

The room is dedicated to Forese Donati, a Florentine historical figure dating back to 1200 A.C. Friend and relative of Dante Alighieri as cousin of his wife (Gemma Donati). The great poet meets Forese Donati in the XXIII and XXIV song of Purgatory where he suffers from the sin of gluttony.

Ser Brunetto Superior Suite

Ser Brunetto is the dolphin of the Corte dei Neri, 35 square meters of soft atmosphere furnished in perfect Florentine style. Intimate and delicate due to the lovely painting mezzanine and the soft colors of blue and white. The large window overlooking Via dei Neri give a warm brightness to the Ser Brunetto. Fair in its extremely sober charm guarantees a stay in full serenity, while the private main entrance ensures privacy and discretion.

Brunetto Latini was a Florentine notary, as well as teacher and source of knowledge for Dante. They meet (to the amazement of Dante) in Hell in the VII Circle, in the group of violent against God and “against nature”. Here they punish the souls who practiced sodomy, a habit that was widespread at the time in the city of Florence, so much so that together with Ser Brunetto Dante in this group he met other fellow citizens. Here the damned are forced to walk without ever stopping, because stopping means stopping on the glowing sand under a shower of fire.
